The system which educates Indonesian people that it can result in better quality human resources than the previous generation. Education supports our economic development and raises our national prosperity. I would like to discuss this topic in three points of view, namely formal education, informal education and the Education as part of the growth-developing economy.
First of all, we look into formal education view as the pioneer to encourage our economic development. Formal education consists of primary, secondary and tertiary levels, so this education is established either by government or private sector. Furthermore, recently, government is more concerned about their public school in quantity rather than quality because they try to cover all the far-flung provinces in Indonesia.
Besides the government attention, we look into private sector which conducts some the other educational foundations. Moreover, private schools provide students with such technical skills as electrical, electronic, mechanical and other studies. Nevertheless, today, these kinds of education have a higher tuition.
Lastly, Education takes part of the growth-developing economy. The Education gives the graduates some useful knowledge to enhance their capability. In addition, people who have got a higher education, they will receive a better salary based upon their skill and knowledge. Each individual is be able to land their feet of good and high paying jobs, especially if they graduate from an exclusive private school. Education also develops person’s welfare, such as they can easily cope with his country’s development.
In conclusion, certainly, with a competitive level of educational standard and high literacy rate, Indonesia can definitely meet the growing demand for economic development. Leading from this, the Educational system in Indonesia becomes an effective tool not only for civilizing its populace, but also for supporting its desired economic development as well.
